This page sets out how well-of-riches.com reviews Well of Riches. We want every figure on the site to be accurate, openly sourced and written by us, based on the game itself and on reliable references.

Our review process

We play the game and check what we see against the official material Novomatic publishes, where it exists. We concentrate on what matters to a player: the mechanics, RTP, volatility, the bonus round and the betting options.

What we check

• Game mechanics. The 5×3 layout, the 243 ways to win and how winning combinations form.
• RTP and volatility. The values the game displays or the provider publishes, including the fact that casinos can run different RTP settings.
• Paytable. Symbol values and the other information in the in-game paytable.
• Bonus features. How Hold & Win is triggered, what each modifier in the well does and how the four fixed jackpots are awarded.
• Bonus buy. Whether the build offers it and what it costs, since not every casino version includes it.
• Bets and settings. The stake range and the settings that change how the game plays.
• Mobile play. How the game and its controls work in portrait on a phone.

Checking in the game

Wherever possible we confirm the important details in the game interface itself, usually in the free demo. The screenshots in our review come from that process and illustrate the features, values and paytable information we checked.

We do not build our pages by copying other websites.

Sources

Novomatic's own information is our main outside source for the game's specifications, alongside what the game shows on screen. When something cannot be confirmed independently, we say so instead of presenting a guess as fact.
